This one i’ve just started. Not even built yet but i’ve tested priming on a fixed seam. Looks like i haven’t lost any seam erasing skills. I’ll work on this next week.

Well, here’s a pic of an armless strike freedom trying to look fierce. I totally messed up the paint job.
- Tried red panelining - no good, looks too bright.
- Used white primer - no good, i couldn’t see my white paint going on and it got dirty easily.
- Used Mr Color “dark iron” on the black parts. - no good, it produced a cast iron rough texture which refused to become smooth no matter how i coated it with future/kleer. I wanted to do silver panel lines on the dragoon system behind but it was too rough to do a wash.
- Used Mr Super Clear Flat on a cool night - no good. Totally went frosty on me. You can see the yellow V fins frosted in the above picture.. Whole dragoon system is being stripped now.
Oh well.

I’m just done with this thing. Its oob and a serious under-performance by me. I must also say this is a terrible kit. Poseability sucks, detailing sucks. I didn’t pose it before i built it and it resulted in serious oversights like
- the rifles not being able to attach to th side skirt armour while posed
- The model cannot be mounted on the stand with the side railguns behind
- Didn’t detail it at all because i didn’t take a good look and see how much it suked in its detail-lessness.
Anyway i tried the frosty beam sabre thing and it didn’t work out so good. I sprayed a flat coat on the beam sabre in a gradient but the trouble is i can’t see it until it dries and turns frosty. I think i’m supposed to use white next time.
Well, I stripped the paint off the dragoon system completely using some DOT 3 Brake fluid. It stinks. No really, it does. Anyhow it got the job done in 2 days whereas chlorox bleach and a week of soaking didn’t. I repainted it today and fit everything together. I used 2 polycaps to hold the rifles and stuck them onto the stand. It also needs decals which it doesn’t come with or are found easily anywhere in this country. I think I shall hold this one with me until I am able to order some decent decals. Should have detailed it more and scribed some panel lines. I shall not make the same mistakes of ommision with the 1/100 NG infinite Justice. I’m going to pimp it up until its about a lightyear behind Keita’s Infinite Justice! That’ll still be better than this one. I just didn’t put my heart and soul into it like i did with the RX-78-2 and it really shows quite obviously. I did a cheesy wallpaper sized thing in the style of those Japanese modellers to link to this page. Heh.. Enjoy (or cringe) at the pictures here.
