I’m quite glad I’m abit busy these few days. Packing up the house, mounting projector, moving pastor’s stuff. Its all been whole day activities. Had supper just now with ppl after prayer meeting. Spent the night running cable with ps upstairs, both the VGA and the power.

We need to move man. sigh.. either that or this church need mega major MAJOR reno. The place looks like a wordpress install from my early days. Hacked, patched and jerry-rigged like mad to just survive and get on by to the next day/week/month/year. You should see the amount of cable and re-cable and the amount of stuff running off one breaker. The trunking is all full of cable!! cannot even ‘tamba’ one more inside. Trunking run once, twice, thrice.. like.. this is how the 2 offices are wired up and drawing power.

Sigh. I was actually laughing at the situation at first when ps opened the trunking to find it full and we plugged 2 multiplugs into the double wall plug. But when I opened the false ceiling to pull the wire through it really wasn’t so funny anymore. I’m not complaining. Sigh, just.. sian. Why people can take ownership of their home.. spend craploads of money on a place that really doesn’t edify anyone (mostly) and has no eternal purpose and value and we as a church cannot take ownership of the church, spend craploads of money on it and make it BEYOND functional.. We are the church.. why does it feel like its just a building now which someone else owns? “not mine what..” kinda attitude. When you spend on the church, you spend on yourself because as all the kids know:

You are the church

We are the church together..

Sigh. God, what do you want us to learn before you allow us to move on? Please, admonish us, humble us, teach us, unite us and bless us. I’m just sad to tears.

I’m just amazed a the amount of discipline and planning a self employed person must have. I always don’t feel like working and there’s nobody to pressure me. Also, you can either end up working too much or too little..

I’m almost done with patrick’s site. Did up a nice “sold” sign and fixed up the payment gateway. I’m like so ultra tired! I only have to test it and try to make it break.. Also have to make the special offer thing nice and elegant. Meanwhile, the other site seems to be coming along very slowly.. I just can’t get any designs out. In addition, Joann’s going to hand me the cantata stuff soon.. I think I’d better finish all this and have only one job when school starts. 1 down, 2 to go!

You know those flags and stuff you see around at national day? I went hanging them with my brother today.. wha, very xiong man. This is a picture of it before we started.
