Headaching since 11am. Sigh.. even a nap from 2-5 couldn’t take care of it. Maybe its a stress headache. Whatever the case, My exams seems to be pretty much doomed from the 3rd paper. One after the other increasingly hard. I’ve been thinking of what I can do without a degree. I’d have to start a business. Oh boy.. thats just so.. daunting. But more fun and flexible than working for someone I guess, just with the added stress of actually making profit.

Today’s EG2401 exam went smoothly. Predicted result is a B. I think, the credit can only go to God. Oh dearie me, still got 4 more. I’m not panicking but more like expecting bad stuff. Back to study! Must cram before dinner date with YX. Her birthday falls in the middle of children’s camp. So going to pak toh before I die on wed and thursday exams.

First paper tomorrow (sat) at 9-11am. Oh man! How come so fast suddenly here already!

Wah! I met so many people in Ikea in one day

5. Candice from ah band!

I was there to study with Zg and I had a nice breakfast there with him. I was terribly late though.. aha.. he called me and I didn’t even pick up until 930. Half hour after he got there, 1.5hrs after the time we’re supposed to meet. Heh..

Here’s candice. She plays played alto sax while we were in Ah band. We were laughing to tears at how we were obsessed with band and saw each other every single day. She has since changed abit.. works at expo there. She refused to take photo so I took one anyway. Its not too bad la..

This is the chao mugger ze gang. He ate like.. 2 and a half crossoints for breakfast. I, had at least 5 cups of coffee. Was feeling jittery on the way back home after.

Now, I’m going to read read a little. I have no clue what I have to do for saturday’s exam or what kinda questions will come out.

This is so CLASSIC! the mian bao che!! I want one! haha.. saw it at ikea when I went there to study. After I parked, I rested in the car for a while and ended up sleeping inside for half an hour! Oh man..

And also, the mission trip people left this morning. After which I had to rush to school to hand in stuff.

I feel like I really know whats it means to covet. Haha.. I’ve been contemplating my recent material desires. All of which are not required for life.

Those are the 3.. nay.. 4 lines I shall write tonight! Good night world! My dad comes back at 615, I have to get up and pick him tomorrow!

In the past 48 hours, I have only spent 2 sleeping. My tests were terrible. Couldn’t do much. I really need to study up.

Speaking of which, Joel’s sick and not coming for tomorrow.. plus kok wing in malaysia for some school thing. I guess I’m going to do both jobs cos there doesn’t seem to be any suitable candidate around.. Goodness, I never expected to get this. Thankfully its not that bad la. Spent the entire train trip from boon lay to pasir ris copying annotations from kw’s script. The scary thing is I’m not even done! Haha.. its just chock full of his scribbling. I’m happy this sound engineer guy is coming down. Look forward to learning much from him.

No formula sheets will be allowed. Where necessary, formulas will be provided. Please remember to bring along your compass, pencil & ruler for Smith chart problems.

ARGH! Ths like right after the other test! RAh!! Anyway, I got zero for the previous test for this module. Even though the questions are exactly the same as in the tutorials. definitely not a great sign.

I dowan to do anything at all already.

Well, it was bad, but I don’t feel so bad is what I really meant. I presented the program. He didn’t really look at it much at all! then he went through my flowchart and stuff.. then He said I missed my other 2 labs and stuff.. then after that I went for lunch at macs myself and then to lecture and then prepared my slides after that with Ivan.

The presentation was pretty funny, I talked for 8 min! totally saboed the guy after me cos we 4 ppl only have 20min to talk. Anyway, the class was trying to be difficult and ask  question after question after question, the kind to try and make us look bad. Funny thing is that they didn’t do it to the group before la! The questions were kinda stupid though.. It was all deflected and answered with wit, sarcasm and knowledge. I was wondering.. the only way to make us look bad is to show our ignorance (which I think we carefully hid quite well). but.. how can you expose ignorance with MORE ignorance? beats me.. I’d shut up if I were them. They asked like.. pointless questions and pointed out the obvious.

*topic was about why the bridge collapsed cos we postulated that the loading could have caused it*

me - “Yeah, exactly, thats why it collapsed la.. if everyone checked then got no problem already what.”

I suggested we 4 bring laptops and google every fact they say during their presentation and nail them super hard. haha.. but it takes too much effort. After all, they gave us a great chance to look good and we should thank them for it. If nobody asks questions, theres no chance to shine.

I feel.. dead.. tired.. its 4:26am. oh man, if you even think of me tomorrow you must pray for me. I messed up royally again this sem. I really don’t want to fail anymore stuff already but its like, inevitable. I missed out so many features of the program I’m suppsed to write and I found out 2 of the ultra hard code I wrote/copied/scoured the internet for was already provided in the appendix.

Well, I need to finish 2 things tomorrow.

1. A giant flowchart of my program
2. The powerpoint slides and squeeeeezing info into my too tired brain.

Off to bed! I think my dad is going to scold me for pang sehing him again. I think I can’t get up and follow him to go school already. I need the extra sleep from 6:30-9:00am. Total sleep becomes 4.5 hrs. Abit better than 2 I guess.

0930hrs - Breakfast with yurika, eugenia and yijun

1300hrs - Head home then neighbour immediately summons me to his house to help with computer. I oblige.

1340hrs - I’m home..

1420hrs - parents come home.. i only see my dad then I fall asleeeeeeeeeeep..

2330hrs - Woke up

0220hrs - try to set up desktop to program more productively but can’t(no dual screen!! ahh!!), watched stargate atlantis (45min.. I must be mad! but the episode was good), talked to yx until now also

0320hrs - Made a pizza, ate, drank, rested then started programming

0400hrs - tired! but I made it minus life until zero then exit!

0520hrs - Made the thing accept keyboard inputs and reset the letter from falling when the right key is pressed

0533hrs - Somehow I broke the life counting code, doesn’t work anymore.. aRGh!

0630hrs - fixed. Now to count points for every pressed letter.

0700hrs - Can’t work.. going to sleep..
