One thing i forgot to say is that while at macy’s, I bought a 19USD levi’s jeans for myself. Thats cheap man!

We decided to have some kimchi or korean food at korean central because we got back to the hotel early (we were scared of being mugged with so much shopping and we need to pack for an 0830 flight!) and we sumbled on a very good restaurant thats only been open for 2 months. The lady was nice and friendly.

{US_Holiday_Day3} Me and my hummer{US_Holiday_Day3} The hummer{US_Holiday_Day3} David and our pork katsu! Its huge and cheap (relatively). Think 9.90usd only.{US_Holiday_Day3} Me and Pork Katsu{US_Holiday_Day3} We had to grind the sesame before putting it into the 4 different sauces. Curry, Mustard (wasabe), Sweet sour and some spicy sauce.{US_Holiday_Day3} The 4 sauces, 2 plates of pickles and brocolli{US_Holiday_Day3} They had a dancing and singing santa too which sang some rock oldies{US_Holiday_Day3} The pork katsu had this metal grille underneath to prevent it from soggy-fying{US_Holiday_Day3} David mid-meal{US_Holiday_Day3} David after-meal{US_Holiday_Day3} Korean snack attack aftermath

Thats it for today, we’re just packing up and doing some ironing for tomorrow. Might not have any connection for the next 5 days at the wilds, or at all for the rest of the time because I don’t think we’re coming back here to stay. Might wanna go to some nature place. Depends.. we’ll see how. I’m going to pack pack pack.

Before I forget, I’m thankful for quite a few things again today.

1) We’re travelling alone (again)
2) We managed to get what we want and needed
3) We found that good korean food place
4) We’re leaving to the wilds tomorrow, meaning we can let our guard down and relax and not think about what to do for the next 4 days.

New York, New York! - Day 2

Well, I updated the previous post with a little photos. Today’s post is just going to be text - Photos are too many! Goodness.

Breakfast at a real diners
Carnegie Hall
Kate’s paperie
Central park
saw liberty island
Trinity Church
Ground zero
Ate philly steaks
Broadway theatres - les miserables and such
Gargantuan Toys ‘R’ Us
Roberto’s Music Shop
Walk back to hotel

I have to keep track of all this, intend to do a flash thingy for myself.

Anyway we both are glad only two of us came for a number of reasons.

  • This place is dodgy/not safe
  • We did some crazy stuff already
  • We walk alot alot alot

Yeah, so its kinda great that only we two came. I can’t imagine taking care of anyone younger than me, much less girls. Anyway, we’re kinda getting tired of new york. Its quite nauseating to keep seeing city sights and moving around. Too much yin already, need some yang to balance.. haha..

Safe and sound in New York! The trip was pretty funny, shall go into details next time. I’m eating at a pizza place now, the portions are just HUGE! Can’t add pictures cos my card reader is pretty inaccessible now. David’s making a call to the hotel now to find the easiest way to go while I make a quickie post here. I’ve already taken a ton of photos. Mailed a postcard to ben and I’m about to leave. Will update with photos when I can get to my pictures in the camera.

Now for a photodump!! Big one! Took me ages. Don’t expect this kinda numbers all the time! I also captioned everything.. I’m so tired I fell asleep a few times doing this. Good night and good morning people.
