Being in the control room, it can be tough and pressurising sometimes. The expectations of us are so high. This is why we must be serious and focused during the cantata. This is a picture of my work area and here are some notes on it.

Don’t let the drawings fool you, its all important! KW can’t find the “Mute/Cut” button everytime (Thats why the phone sfx keeps going on after the actor picks it up) so I had to mark it out with glow in the dark tape.

Ming Yong is the superly important light man. In this picture he’s actually giving a secret eye signal to the light people outside. Also, the finger points to the ones he wants to turn on and off. The board below is operated by his toes, hence the high chair he needs to sit on.

Here kok wing is pretending to be important and more serious than us. We’re already so serious, he purposely wants to make us look bad.

It gets cramped in the control room too. Here is a picture of me stretching over kok wing just to turn up the choir mics. Ming Yong is giving more secret eye signals. With the additional light under the face the same signals can mean different things.

I hope this helps everyone to realise how stressed and terribly busy we are in the control room. Continue to feed us with sweets and munchy things and be nice to us. Here are the rest of the photos kthxbye.

Wah! I met so many people in Ikea in one day

I was there to study with Zg and I had a nice breakfast there with him. I was terribly late though.. aha.. he called me and I didn’t even pick up until 930. Half hour after he got there, 1.5hrs after the time we’re supposed to meet. Heh..

Here’s candice. She plays played alto sax while we were in Ah band. We were laughing to tears at how we were obsessed with band and saw each other every single day. She has since changed abit.. works at expo there. She refused to take photo so I took one anyway. Its not too bad la..

This is the chao mugger ze gang. He ate like.. 2 and a half crossoints for breakfast. I, had at least 5 cups of coffee. Was feeling jittery on the way back home after.

Now, I’m going to read read a little. I have no clue what I have to do for saturday’s exam or what kinda questions will come out.

Theron made me carry his stuff yesterday, something he could have carried himself. The audacity! It was a bottle of uh.. either lemon or apple tea for me to drink. Thanks man. haha.. hey, what were you expecting?

Had a long talk with a dear friend. Strangely, things have come full circle after 12 years of being in this church. Back to square one and I’m glad it’s so. God led both of us to have such an encouraging talk that really built me up at least. For one, he pointed out some things I said on my blog about the cantata and stuff that wasn’t so great. I must admit, I had an inkling of a feeling it would be so but I ignored it, choosing to indulge myself. Well, I should really take my own advce and try to understand them like how I decided to ask him to supper tonight.

Ignorance breeds hate. I’ve seen it in myself so many times. I really thank God that he really prepared both our hearts tonight and it is not by my intervention that things are so. In fact, I was feeling apprehensive all the way from before recording. Hmmm.. James 3:18 really sums it up quite nicely. It was good to find out all the reasons behind the actions. Even if the actions were wrong or something, you will still understand the circumstances better and see how he’s struggling. And you realise that its something YOU would have done yourself in another setting. Quite the eye-opener.

Oh well.. I really think I’ll forget all this again. I’ve had this conversation so many times already. I hope this is the final one.. and that it’ll be sealed forever.

..with someone over msn? haha.. It took my out of the usual chat-while-multitasking for a while there. The seriousness of it is still there and I think its just something new that people will just find odd for many years to come.

I realise how flippant I am in the wrong way, and serious in things that don’t matter. I am truely grateful for friends. Its even better to know that after this short stint on earth, we shall be together forever in heaven.

YX has a set of them too.. Little stickers with our names on them! Thanks! How bout I tell some background story? The first gift I gave YX was a 50c chao ta bao plastic folder I saw somewhere when I still didn’t like her yet. And.. I made a chao ta bao before also out of clay before (that was brutal sanding work). So thats the story behind the repeated kogepan appearances for the kaypoh.
