…is life. Went down to donate with Bernice then her body wimped out at the last moment. Low blood iron! wah man.. so I went to donate alone. It never struck me how big the needles were until now. When I saw it I was like.. WAH.. Thats big. Haha.. wonder why I never thought that before. Anyway I got done with that and then went to school to finish downloading matlab. I’m still coding for tomorrow, have to submit by midnight… wah.. terrible! stupid sudoku solvers.. so many out there still ask us write another one.

Finally, I got my olympus c-5050 back! ahhhh…. I miss it so much! So I took a few photos today. This is the photo of the day! I had lunch with Cheryl and then went to a table to talk about her portfolio as a website and snapped a shot as we talked to YX over skype. a tad dark though. Wasted.

Anyway, I had lab too. Long day.. I got up at 540 to escape the madness of the morning rush.. then I went to school for a 4 hour lecture then lunch, then had lab until 5. So I’ve been up a pretty long long time. Heh..

I actually managed to get up for this one (unlike beng’s one) because.. I didn’t sleep! haha.. started coding the 4th evolution of the church website after finishing the prelim design and final final mockup. In the end, david and eunice were late la! Left me and Shirley and then we had to find our own way there by cab. After a very very long and draggy string of tour and activities, we caught lunch with Darren and his Dad, then we went back from there. David and Eunice kinda left early to dunno do what then left me Shirley and the dad. He was kind enough to send us to the MRT. Heh. Pictures!

..and hearing by the word of God. I’ve put my phone to good use and dumped some sermons in. I’ve done 2 in the last 2 days.

Its quite good cos in one MRT ride I can finish an entire sermon. The forgiveness and unforgiveness one I downloaded accidentally but stirred me abit because just a couple of weeks after I said I seem to have nothing between me and anyone else around, it seems that the devil always tries to find new people for you to dislike and from that little seed of discord and unsettled business grows into a big big tree which bears hate as its fruit.

Oh well.. Otherwise I had a funny time out with (in order of appearance) rachel, esther, darren, jem and char.Went to gelare to sit down a while. I must say its quite waste time la.. on par with uh.. recent events. ahaha.. Also, I was so so so tired on the way there it was bad. It was probably the sushi I ate with zegang and jonathan for lunch from 3-5. Pictures below! Taken by my phone. Olympus called.. told me camera will be ready by the end of the week. Ah! I’m so looking forward to that!!! I miss taking pictures with a proper camera!

I made a new set, just for people portraits. Think this is the beginning of something nice. haha..

My photography skills came out of hiding again abit today. ahha.. Cos Joel was there early and pretty much handled the entire day today. I’m so thankful for him.

Oh well, going to get up at 415 to get the van and drive to airport so I can get it to church after. Shall shower and wash up while the photos upload. I’m particularly proud of some of them. Today was a nice day for photos. Some are in uncle buck’s flickr too cos I used his nice 50mm prime to shoot a few photos. Links come when Its done.

Being in the control room, it can be tough and pressurising sometimes. The expectations of us are so high. This is why we must be serious and focused during the cantata. This is a picture of my work area and here are some notes on it.

Don’t let the drawings fool you, its all important! KW can’t find the “Mute/Cut” button everytime (Thats why the phone sfx keeps going on after the actor picks it up) so I had to mark it out with glow in the dark tape.

Ming Yong is the superly important light man. In this picture he’s actually giving a secret eye signal to the light people outside. Also, the finger points to the ones he wants to turn on and off. The board below is operated by his toes, hence the high chair he needs to sit on.

Here kok wing is pretending to be important and more serious than us. We’re already so serious, he purposely wants to make us look bad.

It gets cramped in the control room too. Here is a picture of me stretching over kok wing just to turn up the choir mics. Ming Yong is giving more secret eye signals. With the additional light under the face the same signals can mean different things.

My view..
