Seeing Double? Yes.. I got them 500gb drives finally.. Its really not that expensive when you consider how long I’m going to be using these 2 things and what they contain.

I was going to begin the next photo caption with.. “we’ve all been down this road before..” but I’m sure the corniness would freeze everyone to death so I won’t. Instead, I shall go for something innocuous like “Funny Road Sign”. See.. so boring la.

Lastly, my suppoeroo which I consume as I type this. Actually, I shall eat the last piece now. okay. I’m done. *mmmmm*. See what joy 2 dollops of butter and jam can do? And the scones are home made.. just in case you feel like going out to buy.

Me and yx got up early after like.. 3hrs of sleep (5 for her) after studying at the 24hr macs to go pick up Sandra and study with her at the parkway mos burger. I must say it was a nice time, very quiet and uneventful. The tables were small so I sat by myself and YX tuitioned her half to death. Me and YX rushed around to buy her birthday presents and got done in like.. 15 min. Gave her an early one to chase away the exam blues. After that we ditched her there to wait for her parents and went to pastors place.

Ate at pastor’s place.. nice food courtesy of aunty diana.. the chiken wings were especialy nice. It was so fresh and hot theat the oil squirts out and burns you. haha.. all the fingers and mouths burnt! Then we tu there very long and got to puishan’s wedding rehearsal 50 mins late. Well, it was okay only la. One thing I noticed is that everyone was at their usual stations.. ming yong upstair.s.. timothy at the door.. eunice at piano… chorale same ppl.. me with instruments during solemnisation. This could have been anybody’s wedding! I’m so guilty that I have a very flippant attitude towards the weddings already.. even though songs and messages don’t lose their meaning even if repeated 10000 times. Oh well.. I’m going to shower. All the TV shows in the US started! Prison break, heroes, the unit, stargate atlantis… haha.. I shall hold off until next year holidays then watch.. Or maybe I’ll just cut them out. Can’t watch everything.. its just too time wasting.

I went out with my JC classmates for dinner because Yulun was leaving for australia again. I must say the group has become smaller. Kinda funny each time because different people go, sometimes bringing their better halves. I must also say work has caught up and overwhelmed many of them. Quite tragic as life takes toll on things like meetups and friends.

We met up at marmalade pantry. Its really quite good and I must say I’m quite impressed.I had a ribeye in bread with wasabe mayo and onions. The chips on the side were more like potato chips but of different kinds.. not potato. A nice salad with vinegar on the sidehelped me ease into the meal. I had one of mark’s club sandwitches too.. he couldn’t finish it. Lastly, I got an apple crumble. Absolutely fantastic I must say. The crumble was crumbly and crispy. The ice cream was just ice cream. The apple in the crumble was really soft and sweet. Ahh.. so nice. Photos shall speak.

Was reading zenhabits.net about dieting and how diets don’t work. Yes, I wholeheartedly agree. Anyway, what he proposed was better. To slowly switch out unhealthy foods gradually and change your diet to something you actually can survive and live on! Hmm.. now I’ve got a new problem..

Char mee oh char mee.. Wonderful char mee…….. Just had a bowl with sotong balls.. ah….. I think I shall rest soon.. its getting late (2am) and I have an exam at 9. blah..

Just had pepper lunch again with Eunice + Cheryl&Eng Joo before going to esprit for some looking around.. Think everyone was tired so we just walked around and then took bus back.. All of use have direct bus home from there la!! haha… I think its a good place now for me and yx to go cos its like direct for both of us.

Went for Kim’s wedding.. sang in the choir then went shopping with yx and Char. I wanted to go to projectshop cafe to eat the salads there so we went and ordered a house special. The house special is nice, but the sauce was abit too tangy. Like, eat too much will feel its sharpness and stinging. We also ordered a mango banana crumble. It was decent… The banana was overpowering and the whole thing tasted like goreng pisang crumble. We had a nice time shopping after.. This is the day in photos..

Had a horrible salad at pizza hut. It was bad.

After that we went to TJ to find sandra and see whether she’s dancing and all behind our backs (no la.. haha, we just went after looking at phones). I’m crazy tired but I managed to do quite alot of interesting stuff today. I re-did the church website due to the latest version of wordpress (2.1) breaking the functionality of the theme, its still not working properly but thats not noticeable from the front. (Kim!! Help!! Save me!!). Also…

I ate THE MOST juicy, tender, succulent, tasty steak in my entire LIFE right here at home. I mentioned I felt like eating steak or ang moh food after so much chinese food for 3 days. So my mom stopped by Jason’s supermarket in orchard to pick up a slab of meat the size of my one fist and a little more – $26. Then we went home, chopped it into 3 (for me, my mom and my dad), put garlic, black pepper and pan fried it in olive oil. It was amazing… pretty bloody and rare, really soft and juicy. It was heavenly. As i write, I am still salivating. Sigh.. been thinking of it the entire evening – thats how good it was.

Oh well, I shall cook it one day myself. Its really simple to do. Wanna make some fries to go along with it too next time. And with this rant, I’m off to bed.

Ah! glorious steak… I’m still yearning for thee…
