The Friendly Friend

Had some extra time in church after lunch so I made a paper snoot over one 550ex and mounted the other on the camera. The ping pong table made a really nice blue background which when lighted became a light blue. So after testing a million shots on myself zg sat there for I have no idea what reason so I snapped a few shots and I like this one the most. Was thinking so much prep goes into the shot, then the shot’s over in 1/60th of a second.

Anyway, today I had tuition at 11-1 then I was so tired from it I slept from 3-6. Got up, went to the park with Hannah then came back and did completely nothing. Still behind on my fyp.. realised it was more complicated than I ever thought. sigh. So here are some photos of Hannah in the park once I upload them.

Red House Seafood.. Somehow I missed this photo out. Kinda like it but I don’t think anyone else will.. hahaha.. Ok, now I really need to go shower, try to concentrate and hit the books again.. don’t feel fully prepared.

Hot & Cold..

light temperatures in the same scene make it so nice.. the sky was lovely and the evening quiet. A little flare from the lamppost but no big deal.. From the venerable Olympus C5050, still the only camera which I like so so much. It gives photos not full of sharpness and quality but somehow it makes me take photos with a different life and character. Sadly its just too antiquated to take pictures of anything moving. My bro says there is a Nikon D5000 with my name on it somewhere but liveview on dslr still too gross to adopt.  I shall try it out when it comes out..

Haha, I find myself being more and more unable to make a POTD because there are just too many I like. I also realise blur, grain and other imperfections don’ bother me as much anymore. No idea why. I guess its the way the photo makes me feel or think. Less thinking more feeling and remembering. SO here are some more:

That’s about it I think. The last two were from the rolleiflex. Awesome stuff thats more than just sharp. I’m off to bed! The 55mm f1.2 is really legendary. Its so tough and chunky I feel invincible with it on the camera. haha.. Its so tough that the 52mm UV filter it came it shattered to pieces in the presence of its awesomeness.

So for now I’m not screwing any old filter on it lest it shatter again. Probably pick up a Hoya HD ultrahard filter to put on it.

Brazillian Churrascaria was great… so many meats! so little space.. I really wished I could eat more cos even the salad bar was so great but I had no space for it.
