Hahah.. Its been many months since I last saw 80-something on the scale. Today, I’m 89.7kg! haha.. of course, thats the recorded low la.. average still hovering at 90. Still, its an achievement already.

I FINALLY GOT THE LCD TO WORK! WAH MAN!! I shouted out loud when I saw it (Its like.. 2:18am).

Its all been calculated! I need a average of C+ for every module in order to skim past into the next semester. Now, that doesn’t look too hard but I have this feeling I won’t even be able to get that. Beyond skimming past, I’d actuall like to do abit better than just pass. Still, it was a good move to go find acedemic advisor prof. Wah.. this is so hard. Its so hard to graduate.

Met Deborah today when heading for my thai music class. I haven’t seen her for a year or more. I think the first time I met her was way back in 2005 when I loaned her my mouthpiece for TJ’s SYF? I can’t even remember at that time I’ve never ever seen her in my life before. Just asked me online then I said okay. Ha.. think she brought Yi Hong along to meet me at pasir ris.
Why do I mention her? Because.. I think some people who I meet remind me of my sister sometimes. Haha.. its strange but true. Not with regard to personality but.. uh.. I duno, its some kind of x-factor then I think in my head “she’s like my sister lidat” but of course, there will certainly be differences.
The other person happens to be Bernice. Haha.. that one I really think very much like my sister.
Well, got time and kaypoh then can read her blog. She’s very active in church and quite the mission minded girl. No time to meet up and talk though.. she seems to be flying everywhere all the time. I still remember the 2 songs on her MV Doulos Presentation ppt. “Thank You” by Ray Boltz and “I Can Only Imagine” by Mercy Me. The latter is quite.. duh. The former, is below.

I released the two froggies. Its been interesting keeping them but I think they’ll shrink until they disappear if I keep them any longer. Also, the tank was getting real smelly.

Oh well. I haven’t heard a student orchestra before so this concert really surprised me in all the bad ways. Still, only the lower strings were bad. The winds were really good.. save for a single horn which was constantly out of tune. They did very badly in almost all the soft sections too.. the strings were like.. quite horrible with the attack of the notes. All the notes screetched into existence then wavered as they tried to play it soft. Strangely though, me and Oswald noticed that all the difficult sections were the ones that sounded good. This only means one thing. Poor fundamentals. Hahaha. Still, its better than Good fundamentals without practise.
I’m so tired.. And for those who don’t know, uncle John Lai is pretty critical already. Sigh.. why some people’s lives so tough? I almost feel bad.
On the way back.. the realities of the sorry state of my studies was revealed to me. I’m really quite worried for it already. I shall go into obsessive refuse-to-say-yes-to-anything mode. I’ve been too obliging not only to tasks people ask me to do but to useless activities on my own part as well. Have to blame myself for being so slack and not turned on into school mode so far into the semester.
