Its available! Heh.. not getting them because I’m not going to get too deep into this thing already. Going to try to finish the kits I have over the coming years during my holidays and then do it when I’m free.

No updates?

Yes.. I’m sure its terrible to come here and see the same ol thing again and again. That wing is looking terrible plain and boring by now! Anyway I was reading this thread and I’d like to say that the “slimy thing the lady was pouring into a Tamiya bottle” is 95% likely to be nail polish. She’s a makeup artist. And also, snake chain is available in Singapore, but slightly more expensive than at the mechaskunk store before shipping. I did a mass order and thats how I got mine, but the other stuffs like Aluminium bells and such you’ll have to grab it from him. I’ve heard of a few places like the starship modeller’s shop selling it, you’ll just have to look around, Its not as uncommon as it was before.

and Anyone know japanese and want to sub it? By all means please do! Let me know so i link to it or even host it. Right now I’m just testing how much bandwidth it costs to keep all this here. No really fond of youtube cos its not easy (but possible) to download. It takes ages to upload too.

Another thing is the videos are in .flv format… why the obscure format? because the compression is the unbeatable macromedia flash kind. Just head here to get flv player to play it. Anyone want it in mpg? Its going to be twice the size and take even longer to load so its a no no for now. The ads in the sides of the pages are keeping this site up and running pretty good that I’m surprised I must admit. Theres still pretty good amount of bandwidth left, so no worries there.

Anyway to update on the Qubeley, I’ve already painted the outside red armor a semi gloss Mr color “shine red”. It went on so nicely. I’ve yet to do up the internals. Too much school work, semiconductor physics all the way!

The Definitive Plamo Wiki

I’ve been toying with the idea of a plamo wiki recently. Anyone is free to edit and help complete or correct articles. I realised that so much of tutorials, tips and knowledge are stuck in forums and obscure threads that a person using the search function would never find them in 2 lifetimes. So much productive discussion too is wasted buried under months and months of fresh thread with people constantly asking the same things.

In a wiki, knowledge is added freely. No one person gets credit and all is teamwork. To assemble a fine bunch of editors and contributers is so difficult! And I think everyone doesn’t want to get involved because the learning curve is steep or they just don’t know how to begin. Please let me know if you’re interested by dropping me a note.

Otherwise, take a look at it and let me know what you think in the comments.
