Music as a Symptom
As I read an unrelated book, I was just pondering something said during the music wordshops recently about why good people with great ministries like James Dobson, Max Lucado and certain others do not disassociate themselves with CCM. While its not an endorsement of the CCM movement in its entirity nor a justification, I do believe it might actually be the possibility that they unconciously believe that the choice of music is only a symptom, the effect and not the cause, and that these people have their concentration in other areas and believe that changing a persons musical taste does not preceed a change in that person’s heart. Illustrated by a question like “Why be concerned about that Switchfoot/Nine Inch Nails albumn in the iPod when this teenager has a family/drug/attitude/mental problem”. I do realise however, that this opens up some arguments the other way round. Its just a thought though. It also doesn’t seem to apply to the christian who has his life in order. But then again its abit cyclic to say that once the body is healthy the symtom can be tolerated and is okay. Okay, this is quite convoluted, shall stop and read some more.

This is the first dump without an exclaimation at the end of the title. Some things suddenly do not require an exclaimation. Took some photos after church with Weiren. We made him pose in different ways for fun. Then came back and took some photos of yang and chole at the beach again.

Superphotodump! - Alot of Overdue Stuff
These happened over the last week. First, dinner at ritz
Breakfast with YX, then went to AHS to sell some tickets for my concert. Chirley went to visit a teacher firned and we had chats with some of our own teachers.
Finally, we sent off some GLCC from the airport. Including raymond whom I haven’t seen in ages. Tehy were heading to Phillipines for a mission trip.
Lastly, some photos of tonight, which i spent with band ppl.

Being Faithful
Just came back from Daniel and Joann’s place after Ice Cream with YX. Was just thinking of God’s faithfulness and how he’s been there every step of the way. In the many different contexts of our lives. When we sin he’s there, when we’re going through troubles he’s also there. Her surgery on 15th i think. This is one of my favourite songs and it says just that.
