Just thought I’d show come pictures from the 5Dmk2. At first I felt it was pretty much the same as my 5D but it really has many little things I didn’t notice. For one, the thing that I most appreciate is that it feels exactly like my 5D but grippier. I don’t feel like I’m using a different camera or have to adapt. It just shoots straight pictures like its predecessor. A few things I noticed after a day or two of using.
- Video is nice! but hard to shoot stable stuff without IS lenses which are non-existent for full frame
- 10x live view focusing is a godsend for my Nikon 50mm f1.2! It can focus a million times easier than the viewfinder which is pretty hit and miss
- High ISO is pretty good
So here’s some stuff I shot over the last day or two. I’m liking it. Now to get more work…
