Spent last night in church watching a show then playing games (actually I skipped this) then staying over for about 3 hours worth of sleep before I arrived at school. Nothing much to shout about. Going back was more interesting. I met up with the buyer of my Hi-matic F and then browsed around Pageone before heading over to Nikon service center to see if they can repair my Nikon 28Ti. Well, they couldn’t for lack of parts. So I guess I’ll have to tolerate the possessed Autofocus dial spinning around for no reason.

Back from lunch with Shirley and have about 45min before I head out again to get YX from wakeboarding. Kinda enjoying the cool weather! Just setup a VM with ubuntu on it for my FYP. Going to create a HDD trace to pick apart in excel.

The Friendly Friend

Had some extra time in church after lunch so I made a paper snoot over one 550ex and mounted the other on the camera. The ping pong table made a really nice blue background which when lighted became a light blue. So after testing a million shots on myself zg sat there for I have no idea what reason so I snapped a few shots and I like this one the most. Was thinking so much prep goes into the shot, then the shot’s over in 1/60th of a second.

Anyway, today I had tuition at 11-1 then I was so tired from it I slept from 3-6. Got up, went to the park with Hannah then came back and did completely nothing. Still behind on my fyp.. realised it was more complicated than I ever thought. sigh. So here are some photos of Hannah in the park once I upload them.

Mark 6:31 seems to speak of getting rest from busy service but its probably really just Jesus messing with the disciples knowing everyone would follow them anyway and disturb them. Well, its either one or the other.. but both ways the final point was sufficiency in Christ when he asked them to provide food for the multitude.

Anyway to put the post completely backwards (as I tend to make a statement forgetting that people cannot read my mind) I was thinking of verses in the bible that told of solitude and quietness and remembered the St Andrew’s cathedral had this verse for its cafe like place.. hmm.. Shall look around abit more later perhaps.

Its been a quick week over at Pullman Resort, KL for june camp and its always nice to return home and rest in the familiar surroundings. I need to pack up my whole room, its getting closer to being neater but still very far away. Many things I’ve seen and heard still going on in my mind. Off to packing I go!
