Shot this at the UCC at NUS with the Olympus C5050. Due to the terrible focusing ability I managed to get this lovely shot.

Anyway, I just saw an $80 Tenba bag thats the size of a Domke F2. hahaha.. terrible terrible. Shall not covet. In fact, I shall decide to sell some things next week to reduce my possessions. I also realise my boblbee is too big to carry on a daily basis and I end up using the brown slingbag alot more and its not even mine! Oh well. I’m looking forward to finishing up this roll of velvia 50 up and seeing the results. Its just so hard to find a decent subject in sunlight, I hope my Hi-matic does not let me down..

The world seems right tonight. Everything I care about is in place and I couldn’t ask for more.. I don’t know what tomorrow brings but today’s good enough for me.

Well.. some is subjective. haha.. I bought 45 rolls of Fujichrome Velvia 50 expired in June 1996, a good 12 years ago. The original velvia.. No no, I’m not going to use it all myself (I think). Thats like $720 in developing cost. I am going to sell the stuff, one roll at a time. No hurry to move it I suppose. If I manage to sell it at what I’m thinking, I’ll probably break even at about 25 rolls. Now if only I can find some fridge space for it..

Today was a great day. I woke up, did some reading, went out to collect film and bumped into some friends. One roll was mine and pictures were really nice! especially the ones with the thin depth of fields.. It produces such a creamy bokkeh at just f3.5. Maybe its because of the medium format sized lens. Just a few I like..

Well, its not a bad one. I quite like it. Monday and Wed free to work on FYP or just slack around. Great!

Did you know the real world is still out there. Sometimes I get muddled up in unimportant things I just need to be reminded the real world still exists.I just have to go on facebook to see how much the world needs Jesus. To see my friend’s antics and mis-adventures without self-righteous eyes, without disdain and disapproval. To see past the sinner deep into his needs. When I focus on that.. everything else is so dim and pointless and prayer seems to be the only answer. What am I doing being this way? Our foundation for living needs to go beyond our own lives.. I’m wasting time. Shall rest..
