Haha.. saw van’s tag and thought to dig up some images since I’m going to school again tomorrow the next day (ops.. thought it was Sunday already). Sigh.. Now I feel like a car ride to Jurong is so short cos MRT takes infinitely longer. Ate lunch at penang place at the jurong business park place. It was nice.. but I thinkI ate alot. Eventful Day!

• Went for Good Friday Service
• Mega Lunch at Club Chinoi for dad’s birthday
• Soccer - burst David’s shorts while trying to block a high high ball. Its totally gone case.
• Got Cheryl’s MS pro duo stuck in my MS pro slot. I had to take apart almost my whole laptop to take it out. In the end a bunch of sticky tape wrapped on a tweezer did it.
• Dad’s Birthday at home

House is so quiet
Headache…

Was in the zone for an hour or so. Get the stupid LCD working again. Now the keypad behaves a little bit better too. Can’t wait to try it on the PCB which I have no idea how long it’ll take Also noticed I left out a whole bunch of stuff. I really felt like eating just now. Haha.. but didn’t in the end. Late nights are torture.

Slept at 645. woke at 1030. My mom bought a tuna croissant from Ikea for breakfast! ha.. So I finally got to eat it. This is a shot from yesterday when I missed breakfast and ate a smoked salmon sandwich.

1 Samuel 17

You are not ready to do something for God until you are ready to do anything.

David was ready to do anything and made decisions in the spirit.

David was resolved to do God’s will even though saul was genuinely concerned and tried to talk him out of it. Matt 16:21-23 “get thee behind me satan” he said to peter.

There is no greater security than being in God’s will.

David answered depressing competence with God empowered conquest.

God exalted him with Righteousness.

When God exalts his man:
Righteous exaltation honours God
Righteous exaltation helps/blesses others - David produced a generation of giant killers and God got the glory
Righteous exaltation hides self - 1 Samuel 17:58

Oh well, its one of those long nights again where I feel sleepless and unsettled. Shall do some task organizing for myself so I won’t panic or miss any deadlines.

• CS2106 - Lab 4 (due: 26th March 2008 - 2345hr) (3hrs)
• CS2106 - Tutorial 6 (due: 24th March 2008) (3hours)
• EE2001 - LCD program Broke (due: 3rd April 2008 - timetable) {20hrs}
• EE3001 - Final report (due: 3rd April 2008) {15hrs}
• CS2106 - Final Project submission  (due: 11th April 2008 - 2300hr) {4hrs}

And I got 53 for my cs2106 midterm, average is 67 all this after marks have been normalised to 100%. Standard deviation is 17%. hmmm.. So I guess I’m still within the normal bounds. Still, its below average. oh dearie me.

Honestly, how many of the troubles I face can be compared to what David was facing? haha.. I’m fretting over nothing! I can only look at God’s faithfulness to him and find my life’s stresses abit trivial. Imagine me saying something like this from Psalm 54:2-3

“Hear my prayer, O God; Give ear to the words of my mouth. For exams have risen up against me, And tests have sought after my life…”

Ridiculous I know.. but does Jesus care? I know so, cos he said we does. Still, I can’t help but feel like theres so many things I will never get done. I’m really not liking this studies thing very much but I can’t complain.

Ha.. new version! and they turned everything inside out again like they did with 2.1. Don’t really like it very much yet but will have to get used to it because the only way to be secure and stuff is to move forward. Think too many stuffs have been rearranged. I liked the ease of reordering stuff in the write post page last time. Now I’ve more or less have to take the arrangement they give. Still, I guess alot of work’s gone into it. Sigh.. hope it doesn’t break too many of my sites. Now I understand why people don’t update. I only manage less than 10 sites and cannot imagine if they all started breaking cos of a new version. Boo….

Ops.. new low of 88.4kg. haha.. my back is so pain from running yesterday. Got up at 10, went to ikea for breakfast then they change time from 8-11 to 930 to 1030!! I reached at 1035 and missed the breakfast.. sian. Oh well, now back home have to finish reports.
