The Joy of the Lord
Nehemiah 8:10: …Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
I just read the few chapters around it and its about when they returned from exile. Anyway, I was so tired from sleeping at 6am that I totally knocked out for the second half of the sermon. It was such a deep sleep that I didn’t even move or start to nod even as I sat upright. Still, God gave me what I needed and this verse came to mind again. I have no “spring” in my step today and was rather tired. Still, no reason to be so dead, I think I could have been more light.
I missed dinner and ate at 10pm, have quite abit more programming to do. Can’t get around to it. The long evening nap leaves me too awake now. Shall sieve through about a thousand lines of code to skinny it down and add some other functions.
