Its been 3 days since I posted here, somehow thats pretty long for me. Anyways, I have an incredible timetable!

You might think its crazy to split up every module until there’s just one lecture per day but I didn’t plan it like this, it just happened. Still, its quite cool. I’ll be traveling alot alot and also, have alot of time to rest and prepare for each and every session I go for in school. I don’t mind it so much because I’ll be able to concentrate on what I go there for instead of cramming a day with 5 hours of lecture in a row and the like. Everyday starts at 2! except for monday la.. then this week theres an extra lecture at 9 on Thursday.

I ate lunch with Stephanie and her bf Yi Da. I find it so uncommon to find couples like them because they really treat each other like friends like that, plus he looks quite decent. haha.. oh well, I’ll be in the same project group as her and another guy acquaintance I know from JC plus his friend which I don’t know. I hope it’ll be a smooth bit of group work! I don’t take that for-granted anymore.

Lastly, I think it’ll be a tough sem with a very very gentle start. The thai music module had me amused today.. I get 40% just from performances we’re all forced to do anyway! haha.. Then its all quite easy without exam. Supercool.

I’m going to rest rest. I feel really tired all the time even though I sleep. Maybe I shall catch breakfast tomorrow early.

Argh! back and back again. Fool is the word. Fool!

“We have become so callus and dulled that reading the word does not even affect us at all anymore” even though the bible is supposed to be “sharper than any two edged sword”. Wah, think really quite jialat already man. I’ve taken his mercy forgranted. Even the sense of conviction and being upset is mercy! And after I ask and get it, I keep needing again and again. This is not the way to live life.

I actually managed to get up for this one (unlike beng’s one) because.. I didn’t sleep! haha.. started coding the 4th evolution of the church website after finishing the prelim design and final final mockup. In the end, david and eunice were late la! Left me and Shirley and then we had to find our own way there by cab. After a very very long and draggy string of tour and activities, we caught lunch with Darren and his Dad, then we went back from there. David and Eunice kinda left early to dunno do what then left me Shirley and the dad. He was kind enough to send us to the MRT. Heh. Pictures!

For all those who think “it is not revealed to us” is a poor answer to some of the mysteries God has presented us with, let me counter with a question:

What is the Vermiform appendix (just to be more specific) for?

No answer right? Only guesses. The almighty wikipedia doesn’t even answer it for sure. Still, although doctors do not know what it does, it doesn’t take away the skill of a doctor to cure your ailment? They don’t know the answer to everything right? even a simple super common thing like the appendix can’t be known in full.

To make the analogy more accurate, we as patients have no idea what doctors do to us in the operating room but we still trust them. In such manner, let us trust the great physician Jesus Christ, Jehova Rapha, to heal our spiritual diseases even though we cannot understand why 9/11, tsunami,*insert disaster which befelled seemingly innocent people* happened, because honestly, just like how unimportant the question of “why we have an appendix” is to a doctor trying to fix your cancer, the question of “why did 9/11, tsunami,*insert disaster which befelled seemingly innocent people* happen” is just as unimportant to your spiritual sickness and condition.

People (like you and me) don’t go to hell because they don’t believe in Jesus Christ. Technically, if they weren’t sinners and they weren’t born of adam, they wouldn’t go to hell if they were perfect. So don’t tell people they will go to hell because they don’t believe in Jesus Christ and acknowledge him as Lord and Saviour. They go to hell because they are sinners and are born in the line of Adam and for no other reason, are headed to hell. God wouldn’t allow us to go to hell if we were perfect and not born in sin.

Hmm.. I think distinguishing the reason for going to hell is quite important because it is not entirely true that we go to hell for not trusting in God to save us.

I got up at 3pm today. Thats pretty sick man! haha.. I’m so inactive that I only ate 2 meals in the past 2 days. Yesterday’s lunch, and today’s dinner. I’m off to sleep now.. la la la.. And I think this crazy Charissa either gave me a call in her sleep or she pressed the call button while reading my message.

..and hearing by the word of God. I’ve put my phone to good use and dumped some sermons in. I’ve done 2 in the last 2 days.

Its quite good cos in one MRT ride I can finish an entire sermon. The forgiveness and unforgiveness one I downloaded accidentally but stirred me abit because just a couple of weeks after I said I seem to have nothing between me and anyone else around, it seems that the devil always tries to find new people for you to dislike and from that little seed of discord and unsettled business grows into a big big tree which bears hate as its fruit.

Oh well.. Otherwise I had a funny time out with (in order of appearance) rachel, esther, darren, jem and char.Went to gelare to sit down a while. I must say its quite waste time la.. on par with uh.. recent events. ahaha.. Also, I was so so so tired on the way there it was bad. It was probably the sushi I ate with zegang and jonathan for lunch from 3-5. Pictures below! Taken by my phone. Olympus called.. told me camera will be ready by the end of the week. Ah! I’m so looking forward to that!!! I miss taking pictures with a proper camera!

I made yet another ruggedised bible, for Darren this time. I have no idea how many of these bibles and bags I’ve made already. I can’t find the bible of choice though.. the one I got for myself and michelle is a NASB NT. This one is a full KJV but I split it into 2. The paper quality is lower and the print is finer. Its a tad small I must say. There’s a picture of the two piled together to compare thickness and size.

Doing a find and replace operation on a 10MB text file is taking crazy long time. Anyway, I’m trying to extract phone numbers from a raw text file of a nokia backup I did in 2005. (I changed the file extension from .nfb to .txt and ran it through notepad++). Hopefully after alot of seiving I’ll be able to use the data. Its all in there! even my SMSes. Quite cool.
