Well, I did quite a few things. Just thought I’d upload some photos.

Wakeboarded with yx last sat. It was pretty cool.. other than my arms feeling like they got ripped off and my head slamming into the water and the water tasting really bad. It was a really nice experience, very very fun and liberating. Saw a mini outside after and needed to get some photos of it.. its so nice!! Ate prata at Jalan kayu.. first stall along the road. the one far away from the rest. Its the best! William’s wedding was over in a flash.. ate alot and met my PC2 from leopard. The red man platoon.. haha.. still remember.. we call the recruits by our colour.. yellow man, red man, green man, blue man.. “Eh! YOU! Which platoon? red man ah? must be la.. so slack” haha.. something lidat.

Stephanie had this shorts on which looks super like the bananas in pajamas.. and my sec school friend was sleepingwith his eyes half open. Check out the rx78 shield bag I saw.. and Bernice’s table in her room.. See the little boiler? so cute! I waited for her until sleep loh.. then drove to tamp to buy cake and do my sister’s shop. No cake there.. so went back to bedok then home.

oh yes.. I pulled 500KM from one tank of petrol.. and the low-petrol lights haven’t even come on! how awesome is that.

This sounds totally mad.. but after 4 hours last night, and so far, 3 hours this morning of programming in assembly, I think I’m beginning to like it.

Anyway, today John Yates was talking about some scene from a christian movie. In it was a guy who had a dream of christ being crucified and he was an onlooker. And when he came near to pull the roman soldier away from nailing Jesus to the cross, the roman soldier turned around.. and he was looking at his own face. Yes, we all crucified and killed christ. It was so serious that the usual “yay we’re going home” just didn’t erupt from the fbi class. It gave me alot of thoughts.

On the topic of crucifiction, if you have a chance you should watch “the passion of the christ”. Although I’ve seen some gross inhumane things in my life.. shootings, hangings, executions, decapitations by a knife.. it wasn’t a clean chop, it was a sawing motion..  it was so sick and disturbed me so much I couldn’t eat in the same day. (just to clarify, i was made to watch.. and i didn’t even know what was coming. stupid air force ppl..) And all of that was on video only leh! Imagine seeing it live. I think I’d freak out so bad I’d vomit. After you’ve watched the passion, you won’t want to watch it again. At least I know I don’t want to.. And yet that is what Christ really endured for all of us personally. Sigh. The film doesn’t even come close to the real thing let alone the Jesus film so many years ago .

I think “the old old story”  has become old to me again! Pastor Mike said that if you really can just hear it and just.. “uh huh, ya loh.. he died for us” Its old to you! And if its old, your heart (and mine right now) needs revival very very badly.

Well, I’m praying that it will be able to move me to tears again when I hear it. I shall take a shower.. and rest.

Christ came on a donkey, not because the donkey is a lower or humbler/common animal or what. But Kings rode donkeys when they came in peace. Riding a horse would indicate a king going to war. Christ came on a donkey to proclaim himself as the king and messiah. The jews expected a superman who would wipe out the roman oppressors and (I think) concluded that he could not be the messiah.

This is a sweet post about being happy in marriage from a blog I read everyday (through my feed reader obviously) and I think its pretty practical. I always feel this kinda stuff is always common sense and you’d know it if you read the bible and follow the manual for life closely.

Seriously, we tend to either have too wide a scope of it, or too narrow a scope. So what really, constitutes sin? I’ve heard ppl say “despair is sin” or “such and such thing is sin because blah blah”. What I mean to say is.. when its not in the ten commandments. Is it sin free? And since if we have the other 2 great commandments that christ said when ppl asked him which is the greatest commandment, is a failure to follow that sin too? not a failure, but rather, doing something that has nothing to do with that.

Oh man.. Cos i was just thinking.. some people treat everything as sin and want to confront other people. Buying an xbox instead of support ministry, spending 20 mins on your blog when you can be sturying reading + infinity other more “useful” activities (like I am doing now), not going to a church meeting for no good reason. Are these considered sin? If yes, then a whole lot of us are like.. in deep trouble. If not.. whats the big deal? Why the fuss?

I’m supposing that the answer might lie in the area of “things can’t be classified into sin/not sin only” and there exists  “morally ambiguous” categories too.

After typing all this, I feel the the saducees who asked Jesus “so, who then is my neighbour?” but honestly the spirit is not what I can get away with.. but.. what should I really pay attention to when ppl say me?

Its only 11 and I have a headache. Well, maybe its cos I’ve been up 18 hours and also slammmmed my head into the water one too many times. And maybe I drank too much punggol water (it tastes really bad) too. Shall go sleep. Argh… din get any work done!

Mmmmm…. Vinyl.. I got a really nice roll of it from Uncle David! Its like.. REALLY REALLY nice.. oh man.. running my fingers on it gives me tingles! haha.. kidding. Its really high quality stuff. Haha.. I’m a happy man.
