Lamb Of God

The lamb of God came before us

a ransom for our sin

he gave his life

he rendered his blood

on the cross that we might live

.

how could he have loved us

when we’ve turned our hearts away

how could he redeem us

when we’ve sent him to the grave

oh lamb of god oh precious one our sin has nailed you to the tree

we have have laid the tomb before you

yet you come to make us free

.

The Lord still comes to redeem us

he comes to give us grace

his perfect love will live in our lives

if we seek him now in faith

.
