{13022007} The view from my window.. its quite disgusting really to live so near.

My poor foot is not getting better also..

{13022007} My poor foot! it was bleeding cos i pulled out some dead skin. After I put some tissue, i noticed the droplet on the floor..

Things Done in Secret

Psalm 51:6
Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts,
And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.

Whats hidden is so much more important.

NUS Wind Symphony Clarinets

Went to visit them because I saw one guy carrying a clarinet case and I remembered something about Tang Xiao Ping coming to take sectional for them so I watched them until they finished up their dinner then followed them to the center for the arts building. Talked abit with this guy there, Ian, about playing glissandos and showed him abit about how to do it. I think its just a weird technique and nobody seems to be able to do it much but the good thing is its not worth much cos its so rare you need it. Only dixieland, jazz and swing require abit of it here and there. Of course, TXP can do it easily. His skill level is pretty disgusting already, I think his career is moving towards more solo kinda thing. So long never see him, its nice to meet. Will prob drop by this Chinese New Year to visit him.

Breakfast with Bern, Lunch with YJ

Had breakfast with Bern, going to study a while then head for lunch with YJ. Dreary day, probably because I woke at like 0630 to run and read. I feel too tired! Shouldn’t have slept at 2 last night.

{bfast&lunch} Bern & Me - First time I ate nasi lemak for breakfast here. Its good! without the mutton it was $1!{bfast&lunch} Mac Geek!{bfast&lunch} The lecture after. He’s honky, a very good honky lecturer. Always makes us laugh, is down to earth and teaches well.

Well, going to hit the books *takes hammer*, will return with lunch pictures if he isn’t camera shy.

Update:

Went for lunch and returned. I had the opportunity to view my friend’s lab (he just works there, its not his). He feeds the spiders, even during holidays. Uses CO2 to knock the spider and the flies out, then gives each spider some flies. Cool huh? Saw these tarantula things too and the shell they shed. Coolness!

{lunch} Lunch at science{lunch} Spider Lab, full of spiders! All in little containers stacked on shelves{lunch} Spider spiders…{lunch} This one’s dead. My friend’s job is to feed them and make sure they don’t die{lunch} Spider shelf.. there are a few of these in a very small cramped room{lunch} Red Kneed Taratula.. Hairy and big{lunch} Top view of the tarantula{lunch} Spiders? No, its just the exo skeleton they shed (yes, they shed..). Its put into this container.{lunch} Closer view of a shed exoskeleton

Well, its back to the books again!   X_x   Looking forward to music com meeting on wed.
